Hailing from just outside of San Francisco, I have conducted research and reported stories from all over the world, focusing on the San Francisco bay, Italy and the UK. My focus lies on issues of migration, the arts, economics, public policy and the natural world. I hold a minor in Journalism from the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated with high honours in the History of Art. My thesis research on the way that migrant artists contribute meaningfully to Italy’s economy won the Departmental Citation for the most outstanding undergraduate research in the class of ‘18.
Photography gives me a reason to be outdoors, while reporting allows me to ask the questions that are always on my mind. Both are tools for social justice.
