Originally from just outside of San Francisco, I have conducted research and reported stories from around the world, especially the SF bay, Italy and the UK. My focus lies on issues of migration, the arts, public policy and the natural world. I hold a minor in Journalism from the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated with high honors in the History of Art. My thesis research on the way that migrant artists contribute meaningfully to Italy’s economy won the Departmental Citation for outstanding undergraduate research in the class of ‘18.
My work has been featured on Migrant Voice, TPI News, the British Association of Art Therapists and Bay Nature magazine.
